My name is Nimisha Vora, and I am a dedicated 50-year-old mother of two grown up children . One is a lawyer and the other is a golfer .

Growing up and completing my education in Mumbai, I developed a deep affection for this vibrant city, which continues to hold a special place in my heart.

With a longstanding desire to give back to society, I found the perfect opportunity with the Angels Link Foundation(ALF). I have been a part of ALF for last 18 years.

Collaborating with a group of like-minded women who share a common goal of assisting the underprivileged has been incredibly fulfilling. Together, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

Currently, I am also working twice a week as a remedial teacher, helping students with learning difficulties overcome their challenges and achieve their academic goals. This role is particularly rewarding, as I can see the direct impact of my efforts on the lives of these young learners

In addition to my philanthropic pursuits, I am an avid marathon runner and have participated in races around the world. Experiencing various cultures and environments has broadened my perspective; however, seeing poverty in my home country drives my commitment to effecting change.

One of my most upsetting experiences occurred during an early morning run when I saw a disabled man dragging himself to a bus stop. In that moment, I thought how wonderful it would be if a few of us could pool our resources to buy him a wheelchair. This sentiment is at the heart of what the Angels Link Foundation embodies: coming together to address specific causes by gathering resources from our donors to create meaningful change.

I am dedicated to combining my love for running with my passion for helping others, and through various initiatives, I aim to raise awareness and support for those facing challenges. My journey is one of resilience, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to uplifting my community.
