KAVITA CHANDAN

I am Kavita Chandan, and my journey with Angels Link Foundation (ALF) has been one of love, learning, and giving. After losing my mother-in-law to cancer, I felt a strong urge to bring joy to those in need. With the encouragement of Angel Ruchita and my family’s complete support, on 31st July, 2013 I became an active member, determined to spread smiles and comfort to the less fortunate.

I got involved in several heartwarming initiatives. One of the most memorable moments was ALF’s 50th event at Sadhana Vidyalaya, a school for deaf and mute children. Seeing these children dance with such joy, even though they couldn’t hear the music, was incredibly moving. It reminded me that happiness comes in many forms, often in ways we least expect.

I also had the privilege of contributing to Project Chirag, which helps bring electricity to remote villages, and supporting ALF’s Gadge Project, a centre dedicated to children battling cancer. Organizing events, securing resources, and witnessing the sheer joy on people’s faces made me realize how small acts of kindness can make a world of difference.

What has moved me most are the personal connections I’ve made—elderly people hoping for visits, brave children facing illness, and many others with inspiring stories. These experiences have helped me grow in confidence, resilience, and gratitude.

ALF is a big part of my life, and I’m dedicated to sharing its message of kindness and joy. My dream is for ALF to reach even more people, bringing hope and happiness to many more lives.
