My journey with ALF began through a simple, meaningful conversation at a birthday party. While speaking with Monika about life and its many turns, she shared her wish to start a charity with Kanan. When she asked if I would like to be part of it, I felt grateful for the opportunity and said yes without hesitation.

At that time, we had no clear roadmap or detailed plans. We only had a shared intention to give back in whatever way we could. It was a small beginning, guided by sincerity, faith, and the support of one another.

I have always believed that our time on earth is limited, and that each of us is given an opportunity to use it thoughtfully. In small ways, through everyday choices, we can try to be kinder, more patient, and more aware of the needs around us. For me, giving—whether through time, effort, or resources—is simply a way of expressing gratitude and staying connected to our shared humanity.

This spirit is at the heart of ALF.

ALF was created to reach people from different backgrounds, each facing their own struggles and circumstances. Some may need food, some education, some emotional support, and some simply a listening ear. Our aim is to respond with care, respect, and understanding, without judgment.

We try, in our own small ways, to bring light where there is difficulty, hope where it feels distant, and comfort where it is needed. Whatever we are able to do is made possible through the support of volunteers, donors, and well-wishers who believe in this shared purpose.

ALF is a collective effort shaped by many kind hearts and helping hands. I feel thankful to be part of this journey and to learn every day from the people we serve and those who serve alongside us.

With humility and gratitude, I continue to walk this path, hoping that our sincere efforts, however modest, may make a positive difference in the lives of others.
